The presenter Axel Gudmundsson, is the director of Davis Dyslexia Association Africa (DDAA). He has been a Davis Dyslexia facilitator for nearly 20 years, a Gift of Dyslexia workshop presenter for 10 years, and a Davis supervisor/specialist for some years now. In this lecture he will cover both dyslexia and ADHD, and touch on dyscalculia and autism as well.

▶ How these conditions develop and what the symptoms are.
▶ How to screen for them and how to address them using the Davis approach.
▶ How the Davis methods can be used to TEACH reading with amazing results.

The people of KZN now have a local licensed Davis Dyslexia facilitator, Kathryn Fannin, who teaches at Grace College. She is passionate about removing learning barriers and has experienced the success of the Davis Dyslexia programme and the Davis Math Mastery programme both as a facilitator and as a mother. She will be at the lecture and you will be able to connect with her in the interval as well as before and after the lecture.
